I am loving my Peloton bike! However, I don't want to get stuck in a rut. Peloton users, who are your favorite instructors? What are your favorite classes to take?
Great question and I struggle with it too. I don't want someone pushing me every day to the max and judge where I am on the leaderboard - plus it is not healthy. I skip around a lot and sometimes just do an easy Just Ride while watching a game or show.
I'm obsessed with Jess Sims' bike bootcamp + strength classes, Alex Toussaint's peloton rides, Tunde Oyeneyin's bike bootcamp + peloton rides, Olivia Amato's 15 minute Core strength classes, and of course, Robin Arzon's peloton rides!
Cody is one of the most hilarious ones. Alex is awesome at kicking my butt and really motivating me as well. My favorite classes right now are the bootcamp ones. The cardio gets broken up with strength so the time goes by so much faster.
Like Mr. Schrempf, I don't like the instructors who are constantly telling me to push harder. At my age, I know how hard I want to work, and I know where my limits are. I want a creative teacher to mix things up and keep it interesting--but good lord, don't talk the WHOLE time, give me a chance to appreciate the music every once in a while! My favorites are Ally Love, Denis Morton, and Sam Yo, for their well-designed classes and (relative) serenity.
