Adding Gaba, ltheanin and magnesium really helped me and my daughter. My brain just won't stop sometimes it is like it is constantly running. These 3 helped with the melatonin. I used the Brand Calm's Sleep powder has all 4. But I supplement us separately now but it is a great way to see if those others may help. naturalvitality.com/product...
I’m with Natasha on this one… CBD gummies are the way to go when you need that rest you can’t deny. If you consume THC infused edibles in a legal market, those are great, too! Where melatonin fails, CBD is sure to put you down and out and feeling like you’ve had a good night’s rest. Hypnotix Elixirs Hemp CBD is one brand I know of that works well if you can get your hands on it.
Here in Austin there is a brand a lot of people like called Early Bird CBD they are a local Austin Brand unfortunately it doesn’t work for me but so many of my friends have really loved theirs and I have had them they taste really great. Legal here in Austin and they do have THC.
I use my Peloton app & do a guided meditation for anywhere from 10-20m with my phone screen off sitting on my nightstand & within minutes, I’m asleep. They have all kinds of different categories, but I use the “relax/sleep” or “deep sleep” & really does the trick.
I can't find scientific proof that magnesium or melatonin can absorb through skin, but I swear this Epsom salt has been working for me. 6:30 bath and I'm out sooner than I even want to be! target.com/p/dr-teal-39-s-m...
Costco Sleep Aid is my friend on those tough nights my brain is running. I only take 1/4-1/2 a pill though because it’s strong. I’m pretty sure it’s like Unisom but much cheaper.
My husband was having the same issue with melatonin and started using the liquid instead of capsules/ gummies. He said he definitely noticed a difference!
