The machines can cut over 300 materials (paper, vinyl, fabric, leather, wood) and can also score, write, and add decorative effectsI I choose to purchase the Maker specifically because I make clothing and it cuts fabric and I can draft and print my patterns. And I agree with Victoria Grinde- if you craft, you will love it!
