ATTENTION DENVER RESIDENTS:

I'm a big recycler and a huge believer in saving the earth, but some of these regulations for recycling from the City & County of Denver were surprising to me! It seems a recycle load that is contaminated with trash or plastic is in all likelihood dumped, let’s save the earth together!
NO shredded paper.
NO Paper plates.
NO Paperback or hardcover books.
NO Paper Towels, Tissues, or Napkins.
NO Plastic bags - Denver's #1 recycling contaminant.
ACCEPTED:
Hot or cold beverage cups can be recycled. The lids and straws are trash. This includes paper soup containers.
Pizza boxes (not greased through to the other side)
