Bamboo Towels

Has anyone tried towels made from bamboo? How do they compare to cotton towels? I like the idea of bamboo as more sustainable, but I have read they can dry slower and worry that could lead to musty smell in the Texas humidity.

Bamboo towels are actually less sustainable than cotton due to the process bamboo must go through to be made into material. The waste and chemicals used are actually more harmful. I love the organic cotton towels from Kohl’s personally.

It’s a super common misconception that bamboo is better for the environment. I can send you some links if you’d like or you can google it and do the research.

I've not experienced the towels but the sheets are wonderful. Also - the bamboo toilet paper is GREAT.

I have. They are soft. I didn’t notice too much a difference from them and a super soft cotton one. I say go for it if it’s not too crazy more than a regular one. I do think bamboo resists bacteria growth while the regular ones do not.
