I'd highly recommend SubZero refrigerators. We've had them in our last two houses and they've never been any trouble.
I can tell you that my folks have had nothing but bad luck with Samsung French door models, requiring several warranty repairs to the icemaker systems.
We have always stuck with the LG brand. We have one in the house and in the garage. They are well made and last a while. Both fridges are french doors with bottom pull out freezers.
We got a new Subzero (to replace our 20yr one) and the new French door models are wonderful. Huge inside. Very happy. Paid more than my first new car, but worth it. The local repair guys (Professional Appliance Technicians) are consummate professionals and have worked on all our Subzeros for decades.
