Breakfast is so important I like to juice in the morning it really helps to energize my morning then I will have like an early lunch. My go to juice right now is beets, turmeric, lemon, carrots and spinach or just celery. Kids are more traditional with egg sandwiches or plain old Cheerios seem to be their favorites.
I actually started fasting till 12 everyday for the last several months. I only drink about 20oz of warm lemon water in the am and got off coffee. I have lost weight and the brain fog is gone. I was a huge breakfast person, but tried this out and now it's a daily routine. I typically eat my 'breakfast' at lunch time now. Eggs, kale, and goat cheese.
Porridge, otherwise known as oatmeal here. You can get the quick cook oats from Wholefoods. We just make it with low-fat milk and water, a dash of cinnamon and a drizzle of honey. The best!
