Cell phone booster

Has anyone done a DIY cell phone booster install or worked with a company to install a booster for your home? I get 1 bar of service for AT&T and T-mobile and would like to improve this.

My experience with the Verizon version of this is that it doesn’t work well. If you install one, be aware you’re also going to be routing calls from anyone near your home through your home internet service.

Best bet is to rely on WI-FI calling if you can.

That’s different. That’s not what I’m looking for. I was asking about a signal booster not something that routes GSM/LTE over Wifi. AT&T already supports calling over Wifi without any equipment

I also get one bar in my house, if I'm lucky. Verizon. I looked into cell boosters last year but I wasn't happy with what I read. Luckily the wifi calling has improved dramatically and my need has decreased. The only thing that still fails sometimes is using iMessage to send SMS to non-iOS devices. Those get routed over LTE. Took me a long time to figure that out.

Ya I didn’t realize Wifi caking supported SMS messages. Problem solved.
