Colorado Road Trip

As you all know, I'm a mother of two boys.

We're taking a trip to Colorado and I'm creating our itinerary.

What should I bring for the road?

What are some recommendations on city's, restaurants, hotels and activities/entertainment?

Our go to for travel are devices, lap desk and drawing travel set, a book, pillows and food. If your kids are little I would add a potty with plastic bags if you don't have a travel potty.

Lisa! I would highly recommend checking out a Morrison and Golden on your journey. I own a creative co-op called The Moxi Poppy in Morrison it’s right below the historical Red Rocks Amphitheater. There’s plenty of awesome dining options and boutiques besides my own to get lost in! Hope to welcome you :)

Hey, be sure to check out any of the museums in Denver. If you're coming from the direction of Colorado springs, then definitely want to take a pit stop at garden of the gods. Nice restaurants in the Denver Tech Center side of town.

If you're into Cannabis at all, definitely hit s Broadway in Denver for about a mile of dispensaries densely packed (best place to hit up for a canna birthday--most have $1 gram joints for birthday folks). Also some great bars and restaurants there.

For a more hipster scene, hit 5 points and RiNo. Beautiful scenery otw to and in Boulder. Catch a show at red rocks in Morrison and if you feel like it visit Mandi Pacer at the Moxie Poppy.

In Boulder, check out the yellow deli for a trippy-inspired cult-run delicious food experience (not open weekends until Sunday afternoon), walk down Pearl Street to the barcade for some throwback fun (pinball, atari games, etc), then catch a comedy show or local band at one of the numerous spots on pearl. Before you leave Colorado for good, make a day time stop up to dream canyon for breathtaking views. Definitely do much to do!!
