Cycling gloves

Hi all--I need recommendations for cycling gloves. My hands tend to get numb during the ride. So I'm willing to spend a few bucks for support.
Or maybe I need advice on hand positioning? I had the bike fitted to my specs for this reason but still numbing. I figure it's probably me more than the fit or the gloves. Thx

I have a similar problem, my fingers are always numb! I've been eyeing the POC Thermal Gloves. A bit pricey so I haven't pulled the trigger on them quite yet. I have heard that they do a great job keeping hands warm but are also flexible enough that the grip control is good.

Typically the numbness is caused by too much pressure on the hands, which pinches nerves and cuts off circulation. If your seat is tilted forward or it’s much higher than the bars, that could cause you to be putting too much weight in your arms and therefore your hands. Switching your hand position more during the ride can help. If you’re looking for gloves to help with the numbness you’ll want to find something with a gel padding to help take the pressure off the palm where the nerves and blood vessels are. If you’re using drop handlebars, that’s about all you can do. If you’re using flat handlebars you can also look for ergonomic grips like those from Ergon.

Thank both of you! I love both of what you have offered. POC Thermal gloves. The ergonomic grips/gel padding. I do the switching of my hands; am careful of the wieght placed...but the seat. Huh. I"ve changed the seat quite a bit...time to recalibrate. Thanks so much
