I'm fairly simple too, and I often just drop into places without doing any research or making an appointment. I've gotten manicures and pedicures from Luxury Nails & Spa on North Decatur Road a few times (once very recently), and I'm always pleased. It's nothing extraordinary or special, but it's quick, reasonably priced and they usually look nice. If you go, consider getting soup dumplings from Hai next door, which for me, makes for a lovely evening! I have many friends who go to Lark & Sparrow for a more boutique experience. If you want to get some awesome nail art, Nouvelle ATL (on Howell Mill) has done some really fun work on friends and they rave about it.
