Life is just flat without surround sound, right?!

So...there are a few things in life that, once you experience them, don't allow you to ever go back to the life you led prior.

I'm talking about 4k Ultra High-Definition TV, super sweet surround sound, and my Beautiful Wifey (but, in reverse order, of course). I'm currently in love with two out of those three, but eager to hear from you regarding the third -- surround sound (Sonos, specifically).

All seven of my TVs (yeah, I know) have a soundbar and subwoofer attached to them and they're fine. But, I've been thinking (waaay too much) about replacing them with Sonos speakers. I love how bass let's me feel whatever I'm watching and/or listening to, so having that rumble is crucial. And, that's where I'm stuck and why I'm reaching out. For those of you who've brought Sonos speakers into your life, are they as awe-inspiring and life-changing as I've built them up in my mind to be?

Hey Nathan! I’ve run a 5.1 surround system with Sonos for several years now. For a true theater experience it’s been incredible. Worth noting I run the soundbar with two play:one’s for satellite speakers, and they make a big difference for immersion in movies. If you’re already running a sonos sub and soundbar.. adding the satellites is not only cheap... but easy.

Hahaha this is funny. My husband just bought a new HUGE 4k High Definition TV. While I am not a techy person, I will have to admit it is hard to watch TV on other ones that are like this new one haha

Maybe we need a separate thread about universal remotes. Constant annoyance!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Your receiver, TV, sound bar, etc. may not talk to each other very well. My roku remote can't talk to my TV, for example. So now we have two remotes. Situation in vacation rentals is even worse...
