Looking for a strong but small umbrella

It’s tropical storm season around here which means heavy rains for short bursts. Can anyone recommend something strong (you never know if hail might drop) but smaller so I can make it from my office to the car without waiting for the weather to pass?

I live in rainy Oregon and I keep a Rain-Mate Compact Travel Umbrella in my car for my kiddos. It's a pretty sturdy mini-umbrella!

Personally I prefer to pull on a rain hat! Keeps my hands free :) My current favorite hat is the "Women's H2Off Rain Bucket Hat" from LL Bean. It's packable and doesn't smash my hair.
