recommendations for exterior drainage?

I believe my downspouts are just dumping water into the soil around my foundation. There has been some foundation sinking, but unclear at what speed. I'm considering better drainage, such as catch basins with drain pipes and emitters at the street for the roof downspouts.

Can you recommend companies that do this work? I’ve had Matvey Foundation come out, and they seem very competent but also very $$. I’m looking to get more bids. Allied Waterproofing is booked out months and PermaDry Waterproofing appears to be too busy to call me back.

This is a tough season for hiring waterproofing companies. They tend to get booked solid as soon as the first rain hits. You might just need to be patient, or try to get the work done in spring. I wish I had better news. You could try a generic contractor, or a design build company. They might be slightly less busy.

One cheap diy fix that might work until you can get something more structural done is to use downspout extensions to get the water away from your foundation
