Best Denver Special Occasion Pros

  • 2406 Federal Blvd, Denver
Mandi Pacer - I've been here for a few birthdays and it's always a riot! The food served up was tasty and the entertainment was phenomenal. I love a good mystery and the gamify aspect of figuring out "who done it" in a Clue murder type setup. If you enjoy theatrical fun and plays this would be a good date night.
Elissa Tompkins - We went here 2 years ago for my step daughter's 14th birthday and I had so much fun that I still tell people about it! Its interactive and hilarious!
Natasha Willis - Adam’s mystery playhouse or an escape room are very fun!
  • 18300 W Alameda Pkwy, Morrison
Victoria Grinde - One of the best venues (hands-down) to see a concert at! Everyone needs to go and experience Red Rocks at least once. It is beautiful and amazing!
Mandi Pacer - I grew up in Colorado and this place is pure heaven. Be it for a hike, a photo session or to experience a concert, Red Rocks is my favorite venue all around. Whenever tourists come to my shop in Morrison I make it a point to ask if they've had a chance to check out this amazing Colorado landmark. I was lucky enough to have my high school graduation here, too!
  • 2508 E Colfax Ave, Denver • Congress Park
Mandi Pacer - Aisles and aisles filled with records from all genres and eras! They buy and sell new and used records and other quirky pop culture items. Located right in the heart of Denver.
Mariella Tamayo - I love how big this store is and they have some vinyls i never thought they would have!
  • 4. Indyink
    1030 W Ellsworth Ave unit f, Denver • Baker
Victoria Grinde - I have ordered shirts from them for a charity event a while back! They did a wonderful job!! Shirts came out awesome, great quality and done when they were said to be done!
Mandi Pacer - I worked with Mack over at Indyink for a large, custom T-shirt order. He was patient, worked through many lofty requests and revisions on my side, and his production team was done with my order before the quoted time by two days. Very impressed and will continue to use them for future T-shirt orders!
Elissa Tompkins - Custom shirt printing and design
  • 638 E 13th Ave, Denver • Civic Center
Mariella Tamayo - Love to shop here for some vinyls! Great pricing and friendly staff!
Travis Ritter - Denver’s first home of alternative music opened in the mid 70s and became the cultural centerpiece for glam rockers and punks to find imported releases of all their favorite bands that were never carried anywhere else in town (or in the state for that matter). It has a fascinating history that helped bring industrial and EBM (electronic body music) to the masses of America with the shop’s own Wax Trax record label after the owners sold the Denver location to its current owners in 1978 and relocated to Chicago (I highly recommend you view the Wax Trax documentary Industrial Accident).
  • 3353 Larimer St, Denver • Five Points
Victoria Grinde - I actually purchased my dress here!!! OMG talk about a dream dress, dream experience, and dream staff to work with!!! It was a wonderful fitting experience! The ladies I works with through the experience … AMAZING!
Heather Long - I have been to this shop a few times for mixer/events while they showcase their unique collections. They are known for their own designs and custom dresses. Very hip/cool vibe, current, young, and creative! And they throw great events with wine and food! What's not to love!
  • Victoria Grinde - My daughter loves this place especially the tarantula that you are able to hold on occasion. They have great holiday displays! Great place to take the whole family especially during Christmas.
Mariella Tamayo - You can spend hours upon hours here with their special events, indoor biodome outside beautiful scenery and thousands upon thousands of plants and monuments. They also have restaurants if you find yourself a bit peckish. Great for a date, family or solo venture.
  • 700 Water St, Denver • Jefferson Park
Elissa Tompkins - We love the Aquarium! Our favorite part is the desert flood exhibit, we like to find all the desert animals.
Anja Castillo - Cool afternoon for the kids or a low-key day date. Check for availability of all amenities as some were shut down for covid!
  • 1955 W 35th Ave, Denver
Elissa Tompkins - I purchased my wedding dress here and loved the overall process, they have so many gorgeous and unique dresses to choose from, and the assistants were all so helpful in helping me get in and out of my dress. They seem to only have higher priced dresses, but if that’s okay with you then I highly recommend!
