- Kayla at Seatown Sweets created a beautiful succulent/cactus themed cake for my daughter's birthday party. The decorations were flawless and the cake itself was light and delicious. Worth the drive to Kirkland from Seattle! Thanks Cassie Walker Johnson for the recommendation.

- Seatown Sweets is my go to for custom and beautiful cakes! But their cookies are my favorite - custom designs and taste amazing.
- Luke and Caylen run an amazing backcountry hunter course. If you want to get off the beaten path and build knowledge and confidence to live in backcountry, this is the course for you. Adventure of a lifetime and opened the door to hundreds of millions of acres of unspoiled country. guideriteadventures.com
- My favorite sushi restaurant in the whole wide world. This is a 1 Michelin Star restaurant. They fly fish in from Japan daily.
If you go here order the Omakase which means chefs choice. The 3 Omakase price points dictate the quality of fish they will give you. Note that they will keep serving you any sushi you want until you are full. Yes, it's all you can eat but they don't tell you this :). You can request any sushi in any way you want it.
They have 2 locations but I only go to the one on Tanglin because it's right next to the Hilton which is my preferred hotel I stay at.
