My house is 8 million years old (well, 1901), and my gutters have seen better days. I need someone to look, tell me what needs to be replaced, what...

Hi Robin, Valentine Roofing is a good place to start. I would also check out Sound Roofing Systems, @RonZ recommended them and he is one Fresh Chalk's great recommenders who really does his homework!
We really liked Gutter King when they did our gutters.
Really like Guardian Roofing for this, they have done work for us and has been great. Challenge is getting on their schedule.
I need someone to help with realigning a section of gutter and potentially adding a downspout.

We had ours down about a year ago - but we also added in a Rainwise Cistern at the same time (which the city mostly pays for). We used Monsoon Rain Gardens and they subcontracted out the gutter work. The guy they hired did an excellent job. If you call Tim at Monsoon (206-782-0418) I'm sure he'd give you the name.
I've heard good things about Northwest Rain Gutters, you might want to give them a call.
Clear Skies Cleaning did a great job cleaning my windows and gutters; I beleive they do repairs as well.
We're having a issue with rain soaking in through our siding, and could use an expert.

I've had a number of leaks in this house, unfortunately. We face Elliott Bay and the wind driven rain loves to come right in. We rebuilt brick walls, put up gutters, added flashing, re-did the stucco, tuckpointed... it went on and on through many projects (and loads of $$$). I dread the sound of dripping.
I tried a few waterproofing experts but didn't get very far with them. Experienced contractors know how to properly protect a wall, but that doesn't mean they can trace a leak. It can be very difficult to determine the original source.
Ultimately we just rebuilt the parts of the house that were leaking, and we picked contractors who would stand by their work if things leaked again. I wish I had better news for you.
The other thing that works for us is caulking the trouble spots every year. That's a $200 job that might forestall a $10,000 leak.
Hi Michael- I just spoke with my contractor Declan Noble of D Noble Construction about your siding issues. He is available and said to send you his way!
Anyone have someone reliable that would be able to repair and/or replace gutters? Thanks!

Hi, @Katieed! My friend @OmarShahine (who has great recommendations!) recommended Integrity Gutters - I reached out and spoke with Wayne, the owner. He confirmed that they do service Seattle. Hope that helps.
Yes, they did a great job. Note decide if you want to paint your gutter First otherwise the painters will have to take them all off and paint them and put them back up. We pained our gutter to match our house siding.
