I like the Top Pot suggestion. Thanks Adam. I think there’s a good business plan in creating a coffee shop meant for working. Combine co-working concept with neighborhood coffee shop. Like what Capital One is doing with their cafes minus the bank. And with better coffee & wifi.
I love Poindexter in the lobby of the Graduate hotel in the U district. There’s a whole area behind the coffee counter that’s quiet and set up well for work. (Coming from a former CTC co-worker, prices and amenities there are way better that We Work).
I tried out Woods Coffee next to Chick-fil-a and it was great because they have a quiet area with tables right next to their coffee shop (part of the hotel next door). WiFi was horrible, however.
