Leslie Feinzaig - In 30 minutes he diagnosed, repaired and did overall maintenance on my garage door - super affordable and quick service. I wish all home repairs were this easy!
Lisa Mesplay - I found Dan's Garage Door Services thanks to the lovely people here on Fresh Chalk who took the time to make a recommendation. We have an older 1968 house with two bone-ugly wooden garage doors, the solid kind that swing up, and the mechanisms were old and so loud. We finally decided to replace them because now we need to move a taller vehicle into the garage. I didn't even mess around with other service providers to get quotes - the recommendations below sold me. Dan came out to give us a quote and he was every bit as kind and helpful as everybody said. He listened very attentively and understood that it was critical that we have enough clearance afterward for a taller vehicle. He offered some creative solutions to make absolutely certain it would work for us. Originally the installation was scheduled for late February/early March, but he was able to move our date up a few weeks, which we greatly appreciated. The doors look fantastic, and I'm sure our neighbors will be as grateful as we are, since they're the ones who have to look at the house all day.

I can't say how the cost would compare to other vendors, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find anybody nicer or more customer-oriented than Dan and his crew.
Brian Glaister - If you haven't used dan yet, what are you waiting for? He is half the price of other services, super prompt, and just an all around great guy. I dont even want to know how far he drove today to do a $29 repair for me. He is new so other companies are reviewed more, but seriously he is who you need to use.

Liz Pearce - David Berleth did a beautiful job! He took on a massive project of removing structures, old bricks, and lots over overgrowth. He installed a beautiful fountain, new pavers, a new fence, and even oversaw moving the position of the front stairs.
Kristen Cole - David was so responsive and made time to come out to see our yard within a couple days of the inquiry. His prices are fair and he was quick to make recommendations based on what was needed. His team came in and got the job done. I love my yard! And would highly recommend Ironwood Tree.
Lila Pearce - He did my houses front yard and it looks great!

Carly Canter - The staff are friendly and they offer a wide variety of plants and trees for both indoors and out! They even have a kitty that roams the greenhouses too!
Christina Nelson - A wide selection of every kind of plant you can think of. The Watson's team also hosts seasonal events, so take your family between Halloween and Christmas for fun free activities.
Rachel Wood - While I love the selection of plants carried at this nursery, their seasonal decor is what really sells this place for me. They host the most charming holiday events and have even had live reindeer during years past. If you're looking for something fun to do this holiday season, plan a girl's night to Watson's.

Carly Canter - They always have what you're looking for and more!
Meredith Fife - We love this place--they have everything! The employees are so enthusiastic and excited to help you. We get all our grilling, gardening and hardware supplies here.
Marston Gould - Having used the three big brands (Home Depot, Lowes, Ace), I would have to say that McLendons is the only one where customer service is still number one. Everyone is very friendly. Prices are not outrageous. Staff will take the time to help you when you really need it. I've been rooked too many times by the big 3. I've never had anything but a good experience with McL

    Julia Schroeder - Excellent service
Peter Slinn - Mark repaired our Kitchen Aid dishwasher recently. He clearly knows what he is doing and not merely learning on the job as is the case with many of the franchise outfits. His prices were reasonable, he was very efficient, was careful to clean up all traces of his efforts and was a nice guy to boot. I highly recommended Mark.

  • Omar Shahine - We had a massive ant problem a few years ago. Every summer they would come out in the thousands in our front yard, and eventually find ways into our house. We hired Western and have never seen them since. They come by every other month.
Ali White MacBeth - Western Exterminator has reasonable prices and easy to work with.

Ryan Bruss - The crawl space in my new house was absolutely disgusting. Dead rats, insulation falling down, just gross. I saw the recommendation for Attic Project from one of my friends on Fresh Chalk and decided to give them a call. It was easy to schedule the first consultation. They came out, took pictures, and gave me an estimate. Not the cheapest, but it was necessary and they were very professional. We scheduled the work for a day I wasn't home (crawl space access from outside). They took care of everything! Cleaned up the old stuff, sanitized, rodent proofed (with 5 year warranty) and send me the pictures when they were done. Awesome work, professional company, highly recommend.
Marston Gould - I just recently used them to insulate and do rat barrier prevention. They did a great job and are reliable.
John Valdez - This is an extraordinary company. From the first person we met, Mike, who did the estimate and took photos of the work that needed to be done and kept an eye on the progress of the project, to the office staff, to the project managers, and to the crew that did the work, we were truly impressed. Six people worked tirelessly for three days to complete this job which was a big job at a big house. They were Jeremy, the crew leader, Edgar, Angel, Mario, Jesse, and Gilbert. Most of my communication and contact was with Jeremy who was exceptional. He kept us updated as the project progressed, was very responsive to any questions we might have, and took photographs of the work. He and the entire crew were respectful of us, of our house, worked diligently to get the job done, and left the house clean every day. They, and the entire company, not only met our expectations, they exceeded them. We would have no hesitancy recommending Attic Projects to anyone who needs this kind of work done.

Ron Zanetti - Great good at a fair price. They did a complete tear off and replace for us. Problem solved!

Omar Shahine - Unfortunately, we had to hire the Flood Guys after our son's bathtub flooded his bathroom. We called them Saturday night and Ivann was at our place within 90 minutes. He took some measurements with a moisture sensor and infra-red camera and then sent us an estimate. The crew arrived Monday morning for mitigation. First, they put some heaters over the tile in my son's bathroom and a de-humidifier in the kitchen. The next day they came in and removed the sheetrock from the ceiling and insulation and then dried out the area for 2 more days.

I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism and cleanliness. Everything was immaculate every day. They placed an air right barrier around the mitigation space in the kitchen. I hope you don't need to call them but if you do, they will do a great job.
Steve Dossick - We had a pipe burst outside and it caused a small basement flood. The Flood Guys were prompt, pricing was fair, and all the workers were polite and competent. Highly recommend!
