Have you used Call Before you Dig 811?
Share your story.
When planting a tree, look above for power lines, keep it away from your home and make sure it won’t block a gorgeous view or oncoming traffic. More importantly, before that shovel hits the ground, call 811. Nothing spoils a tree planting quicker than a cut utility line. 811 will come out for free, mark utilities with paint or flags so that you don't unintentionally dig into an underground utility line and get zapped.
