General Assembly

This is a one stop shop for classes, career tips, special events, and more when it comes to learning about technology careers. I first attended a free workshop there for learning about new Digital Marketing trends, but found myself taking more interest as I discovered my network had strong connections with this Bootcamp haven.

Eventually I partnered with a few organizations to put on community events at their facility and it was always a great experience for all involved. It’s located in Midtown Atlanta’s infamous Ponce City Market

They provide education, training and free workshops with focus on tech and digital areas like Coding, Marketing, Design, Data and other types of opportunities to cultivate diverse learning and advancement n tech. I was accepted into their Catalyst program for User Experience Design, which allows people to attend without having to pay a lofty tuition up front and without taking out a traditional loan. The staff is great and they are internationally known, as I’ve spoken to many professionals abroad in tech that are familiar when their name is mentioned.
