I love my Chi. I have had it for years and it has always met my straightening needs. I have a little natural wave to my hair to it doesn't take much for a real straight look but my daughter has super curly hair and the chi can get her hair just as straight as mine.
No other brand compares; best option for stick straight hair with minimal damage (I always use a heat protectant/frizz tamer too!)

Although the Chi brand became very popular many years ago, they do not last and there are way better flat irons out there.
