Tell me about your FAVORITE/GO-TO workout apps!

I am trying to switch up my workouts and want to try out some new apps .... What are you using and why? What makes it your favorite?

Hello Victoria. My favorite is Motion Traxx it’s audio training for ellipticals, treadmills, indoor cycling, rowing, outdoor running, bowflex and Tabata. One of the best features is currated music to the pace that is set by the coaches. The workouts are always challenging and the coaches are so motivating. Amy Dixon & Tom Holland are my favorites. There are a lot of varieties of styles to choose from and I love that there is a downloadable option for listening offline. It’s a reasonable subscription I think around $5 and change a month. Def the best one I have personally found.

I subscribe to Beachbody. Their Beachbody On Demand App works on my Apple products and Amazon Kindles. There are so many different workouts to choose from and the trainers are so good at explaining modifications if needed.

I use Les Mills and Beachbody. Les Mills is more geared towards spin bikes, weight lifting, HIIT. Beachbody has more aerobic and lighter weights.

I also love beach body...so many workouts to choose from, programs, groups, 20 mins, one hour, light, intense, etc. There’s a program for everyone. I’ve been doing barre and 90day fix (I think that’s what it was called) with amber. Didn’t like the kick boxing classes as much. But everything else I’ve done has been pretty great and reasonable cost.

I love a few - Couch to 5K is great for running, Beachbody on Demand is great to mix it up. I love Autumn C from 21 Day Fix and 80 Day Obsession and then I also like Workout Trainer!

Couch to 5K I like because sometimes I need motivation and help with interval training. It's kind of like having a coach with you. And it's free!

Beachbody on Demand is great because there are a lot of variety but there is a charge. If you go this route save yourself the hassle and just do the year subscription. You save money and if you're like you forget to cancel!

Workout Trainer has both free and paid versions. I use the free version and there is variety and it's nice because you can choose your workouts based on if you have weights, space, etc.
