OBSESSED. I've been a yogi (strictly) for over 10 years. Then I discovered Burn Cycle. SO much positivity, endorphins, great music and an incredibly kind/talented staff. Love that you can get such a killer workout in 45 mins and leave feeling so good.
Great little bike shop started by 3 friends. Not only do they provide killer bike service / sales, they're fun to hang out with AND have a delicious cafe´inside. Best avocado toast in Seattle. Located inside Chop House row on Capitol Hill with lots of outdoor seating in a lovely courtyard.
Full disclosure - I teach here. But it's ok to love the yoga where you work. This place is classy from start to finish. Non-heated, great thoughtful curation, teachers and classes in a gorgeous non-competitive environment. Seattle is lucky to have a studio like this.
This is something pretty special. A fully immersive yoga experience. You pre-book a room and a virtual class of your choice. The space is transformative and gorgeous, there is tea, your own posh bathroom with organic soaps and potions. Seattle is the pilot location. Totally worth it, you'll be transported! https://www.meetsanctuary.com/
Apollo Nails & Spa
When this place first came to the neighborhood I was skeptical (so shiny and sleek!) but now it's my go-to. Great massage chairs, solid technicians and pretty easy to get day of appointments. Worth the extra couple dollars.
After a traumatic bleach job, Alex (owner) has nursed my hair back to a place that really feels like me. She's amazing with cuts, bangs, shags and convo, and her shop is like a picturesque Palm Springs airbnb. Love it here!
Heidi M Holmquist Acupuncture & Herbal Remedy
Heidi was my first acupuncturist and I must have gotten lucky. I've seen others and realized just how great her care is. She helped heal a year-old back injury in only a few sessions and provides a space in which I can relax unlike I ever have before.
Seattle Integrative Medicine
Dr. Dodge (and the whole team really) is one of the first doctors who saw me as a whole person. I came in for skin issues and came out (via compassion, listening and understanding) with a broader view of how to manage my stress and relationships. The body tells the story of what's going on inside. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
Urban Animal- Capitol Hill
Love all the vets and staff here. They treat my two pups with a ton of love and compassion, and they even have a doggie photo booth!
There are a lot of realtors out there . . . makes sense to choose one who's not only knowledgable but super fun to spend time with too.
