Air conditioners

It's that time of year again and I will not go through another Summer without one! I live in an apartment so no window A/C units, preferably just a portable one. Give me all the recs!

I got one last year for a room that gets beat in the sun! It was a bit pricey but I remember they had three kinds that went on room size. I got it from Lowe’s and it hasn’t made my electric bill skyrocket.

Home Depot should have a good selection to go through. We also have had the Hisense and it was great.

Key to success here is to get a solid seal with the window. Duct tape! Pro tip - if we get wildfire smoke again, you might be able to convert your portable AC into a decent air filter just by taping on the filter.

We have the Mitsubishi MSZ-GL12NA-U1. It’s about $600 bucks. And it’s been a lifesaver in our converted garage/bungalow.
