Blood Donors Needed To Support Local Hospitals

This month, we are bringing awareness to bleeding disorders – where platelets play a key role. Bleeding disorders result from failure of a person’s body to clot properly due to a low level or lack of platelets, or a problem that prevents the platelets from sticking to each other or the injured blood vessel. This, in turn, can cause uncontrollable bleeding which can be very painful for the individual and has potential long-term consequences. Platelets are vital to help hemophilia patients, which is where our donors step in.

Appointments and masks required at all Bloodworks donation sites. Same-day appointments available at most locations, and no guests or people under age 16 are permitted onsite.
