Does anyone know of a meal planner that also helps you budget and clip coupons?

I've been blowing my budget lately mostly due to poor meal planning-- was hoping one of y'all veterans in the kitchen might have a suggestion. 😊

Have you tried the meal service companies like HelloFresh and such.. There are alot of them now. They also sell meal kits at Super Target and larger grocery stores

I have tried HelloFresh and absolutely hated them. the food was always on the cusp of going bad.

Highly recommend Hello Fresh as well, I think you should talk to the company. My food always last all week long. I get 4 meals for 4 people and I haven't had any issues. I bet if you reach out to the company that could help you. HEB also has the ready meals you can buy, some locations have better options than others.

First make a list of five to ten of your favorite Go To meals- make a list of all things you need to make those and stock your pantry- you could even go as far as making a meal plan and stick to it for a certain number of days during the week - commit to doing at least a certain number per week- slowly build your repertoire of Go To meals so you know you have those on hand- when you use it, replace it!

Does your grocery store have an app? I use my grocery store app which gives me rewards based on what I spend, allows me to clip coupons (and its smart enough to remember what I buy and serves up useful coupons), and makes my shopping so much easier.

I'm with Sara on the planning, lol. I often use MyFridgeFood.com to figure things out on the fly when I really don't want to go to the grocery store. I think they also have an app

I use plantoeat.com, which is also an app. You upload your favorite recipes then drag and drop them into a calendar and then it makes it into a shopping list. Then you can use the list and cross off what you already have at home or look up coupons on what is needed. It has saved me so much money! It is a little tedious in the beginning when you have to upload everything but I’ve been using it for over 5 years and it’s super simple now! Also, they have a Black Friday sale where it’s 50%!
