I have a small dog who also hates having their nails trimmed, this trimmer works the best for him! What we do is hold a string cheese stick in front of his face while holding him and then the other person trims his nails while he gnaws on the cheese stick. It's a bit extra but has been the only way we can successfully get his nails trimmed!
