Must haves for sewing/craft room organization

I have tons of fabric, sewing thread, embroidery thread, heat press, cutting machines...this list goes on with all of my supplies. What are your favorite organization tools/furniture, etc.

I like my thread racks on the wall the best! Good luck! It's a never ending task based on how much room you have to determine what you use:)!

I’ve been thinking of getting thread racks for the wall. Right now they are in racks in drawers but it’s hard to see all that I have and it’s time consuming to go through them all.

I have 8 ft tall shlef/cabinet units from IKEA. They fit the square tubs and have some drawers, which are super helpful for organizing all of my sewing, costuming, and paper crafting supplies. Clear bins with lids are another must for me, so I can see at a glance what I'm looking for.

A: Think of how you'd want the organization; on 1 wall or a specified area.
B: Shop online HSN or Amazon, possibly even check out The Container Store.
C: Execute your plan and organize accordingly!

IKEA Kallax all the way and Your Way Cubes from Thirty-One. I have 2 Kallax units in my craft room. A 4x2 and a 4x4 with the desk. They are super popular for a reason. I can store of my scrapbook paper, vinyl, my hear press, fabric and pretty much everything I use in my Your Way Cubes and Fold N Files which fit perfectly inside the shelves. You can store your die cut machines on top. I’m also going to tag you on another cart I bought for my machines.
