I have Saloman Cross-amphibian 2 water shoes from REI & LOVE them! For water & land. No socks needed for land walking because they are kind of built in & hug your ankles. $89

We like Keens! The Keens Newport H2 is the style that we prefer for water, specifically rivers and streams. Same style name for men, women, and children.

We love Keens too! We need water shoes every summer because Lake Michigan can have a very rocky bottom. Keens have a tough sole that protect the bottom of your feet. They are also very easy for my kids to get on and off by themselves. Keens are a little more expensive but when I have purchased cheaper brands the shoes start to fall apart before the summer is over.
