Maliik Obee - Brunch! Whether its a date or a family outing, never had a bad time at Founding Farmers. Be prepared to pay to park though. But the menu isn't just the basics, but it's not too much craziness on bacon and eggs, which I like. Always loved the ambiance.
Julie Halpin - The best brunch in the DC area! Highly recommend the stuffed french toast if you are looking for something sweet or one of the pan scrambles for a more savory dish. I would definitely make a reservation before going, they are very popular!

Paula Claure - They have the best gourmet pizzas πŸ• good beer! With every purchase, you are helping the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation 🐢🐈
Romer Garcia - The Lost Dog is the perfect place to grab a pizza and a few beers, oh man, their selection is just impressive, there are beers for all tastes, even my friend who is not a beer person found something for him. My wife and me just LOVE their pizza, many of our "home dates" during the pandemic consisted of watching a movie or binge watching some series with a gourmet pizza and beer from The Lost Dog Cafe. 100% recommended!

Maliik Obee - Best ice cream in the Navy Yard area, and there are a few spots to choose from. Right on the water if you want to make it a date or just get some fresh air. Right now they have the christmas lights up so it's beautiful at night. Thai Iced Tea ice cream is amazing, ask for the cookie sandwich, it's two christmas cookies with the thai iced tea ice cream in the middle its amazing.

Maliik Obee - Mama's Kitchen is a mainstay in Anacostia, they really do a lot for the community. You'll see pictures of kids from the neighborhood on the walls, pictures of honor roll certificates and events coming up in the community. They do a lot of giving back and the pizza is good. Get a real slice or pie for the family here. Lots of other good things, I particularly like the subs. A great sign of how trusting they are of the community is the back door is always open. People in need can come and get a hot meal. Very reasonable pricing as well.

Zan Hudson - Hip Caribbean spot in DC. Food is delicious and I recommend getting the Rum punch the best I ever had!
