24-Pocket Peva Over the Door Shoe Bag
You could find a use for this in almost every room of every home. I like the clear pockets over the canvas ones because the clear pockets allow you to easily see what is inside. It is perfect in kid’s room for all their random items, in bathrooms for random toiletries, laundry room for cleaning supplies, etc. My favorite use is in a coat closet, its perfect for gloves, hats, even dog leashes and poop bags!
Bygglek (Lego Box)
Hey all you Lego lovers, and parents of LEGO lovers, how clever are these Bygglek boxes from Ikea! Store legos inside and build or display creations on top. Now that's what I call multi-functional design!
Ikea Raskog Utility Cart
Office Furniture
I absolutely love this cart! It can be used for so many purposes and in so many rooms. I am currently using mine for my art supplies which I keep in my room so when I have time to use for my art project, I can wheel it out. I have seen it used as a portable bar cart, in the kitchen as an overflow holder for fresh produce, in baby rooms for diapers, in the laundry room for cleaning supplies - it really has so many different uses!
Ikea Tjusig Hanger
This is one of my Ikea favorites – it’s perfect to hang coats, hats, gloves, etc. For a lot of people in Seattle, coats can be hard cause many of us don’t have coat closets or entry ways. It can be a perfect place to hang coats when guests come over or when nothing is on it, it looks like a cool piece of art! Right now at my house, I have one by the door full of masks and one in the bedroom for scarves!
Swoop Bags
What I love about this bag is that it works for so many purposes – train tracks, Legos, blocks, or really any kind of kids toys. You just undo the drawstring for easy access to what is in the bag, and then just pull it up for an easy pick up when play time is over! They also have smaller bags you can use for art supplies or even make up – there are so many creative uses if you think outside the box!
Three by Three Magnetic Wall Pocket
I use this with almost every single client I work with. Instead of piling items horizontally on shelves and tables, this instead takes your pile of paper and makes it vertical. I am big on making a command center in your home and using that vertical space to see everything in a non-cluttered way. I usually recommend having one for every family member or you could have one for bills, mail, homework, etc.
