Its been a while I've seen good horror movie (slasher or paranormal) but I'm starting to see a lack of them they're either not as scary or not good because there are certain things that ruin it.
I'm a big horror buff and would love to recommend some! For slasher, check out You're Next if you haven't seen it. Great take on the home invasion plot. I also really loved High Tension, which is French with a controversial ending. For paranormal, I really enjoyed Oculus and Ouija: Origins of Evil, which are both pretty new. I love horror movies but I feel like there isn't anything that great that has come out recently. I would have to agree that Oculus is a pretty decent one.
