Hi! Fellow tennis player here! Most pros at clubs offer private lessons on the side. Robinswood Tennis Center is public, so you might start there. Small clubs like Edgebrook and Eastside Tennis Center might also be good places to check out
I've been wanting to take tennis lessons for a while but haven't taken the plunge! I like the idea of family lessons - looks like Robinswood has an affordable group option. One other place to check out might be the Phantom Lake Club, which also offers group lessons and seems reasonably priced. I was investigating the PRO Club (which offers private tennis lessons and would have some additional benefits) but yikes ($$$$).
If you are near NE Seattle and Magnuson park, Tennis Center Sand Point is a semi public club and is outstanding for all ages. Membership is less than $150 per YEAR! 10 indoor courts and full staff.
I am in love with tennis. What a great family sport. I am in NE Seattle so I love Tennis Center Sandpoint, but a great place to start for classes/family coaching would be Edgebrook or Robinswood. I play teams from both spots. Once you get into the tennis world, you'll find all kinds of great coaches and all kinds of social opportunities to play with other adults or kids for your kiddos. Have fun!
