Best Blister Prevention?

I bought a gorgeous pair of Doc Marten boots last summer that I just can't seem to break in. They always give me blisters on my heel, even with a nice thick pair of socks. Anyone know of a good product I could use to prevent this?

You need Moleskin! The blister padding, not the notebooks :)

Plus one for Moleskin. I used it when wearing cleats. It was an essential part of my gear bag for tournaments. I know some people used duct tape because it’s cheap. That didn’t work for me, but it worked for them.

I put on a lot of layers of Micropore Tape, and bring the roll with me in case I need to re-apply.

I use regular athletic tape to prevent blisters. If I get a blister (when I wasn't using tape), I use these until healed. They stay in place a few days and provide good cushion and healing.

Foot blisters are usually caused by too tight or loose shoes. You know your body best. Is there a lot of wiggle? Or are they stiff and when you take them off your socks are drenched?

Too tight, easy up on the knots. Too loose, try changing the way you lace them. Look up different lacing styles and see if that keeps them more snug.
