Best SUV?

I’ve got only 2 teens now (Boys bigger than me) and 2 dogs (also HUGE) and looking into a new SUV. I do want the capability of when my oldest is home to have in the car as well. Why do you love or hate your SUV?

Good question! I'm on the look for one too. So far the Volkwagen Atlas has caught my attention. It has three rows, and the configuration of the second row is like a mini-van, with two separate seats. Great for two car seats (not for your teens of course, but in my case pretty functional). Getting in/out of the third row seems more easy.

We love our Nissan Pathfinder. It has the room you need, handles like a smaller suv even thought it has the 7 seat capacity. I just love how it handles so much better than others in it's price range. We tried out many an loved that we could get all we did in the price point we wanted to stay in.

I LOVE my Honda Pilot! Granted, mine is a 2008, but when we trade it in next year, I'm going to get another one. Third row seating is so handy when I'm transporting lots of kids or long car trips when the kids want to separate themselves. I like that the back door lifts up, rather than to the side, and when the third row is down, there is TONS of space for everything. Lots of little cubby holes and storage areas for small tools and other handy items (Febreze, kleenex, wipes, grocery bags, etc). The console between the front seats is great too - I can set my purse there, or food, or whatever! There is also an AC vent in the back to provide additional air flow and cool the car down quicker, which was super critical when we were still living in Texas. I personally feel safer sitting up higher in an SUV which gives me more visibility; there is plenty of headroom too for my tall husband.

I bought a 2019 VW Atlas and its very functional for my needs. Very roomy for large adults. I decided on the Atlas because of the panoramic roof and the 6 year/72,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.

I own a 2014 Dodge Journey, it does very well in the snow, but it is a rough rider and I've had a few mechanical issues along the way. Once it's run into the ground, I'll likely move over to a Honda CRV or a Toyota Rav4. Both have great overall ratings for safety, features, longevity, and cost.

I don't love large cars so I have a small SUV - Toyota RAV-4. I had my first one for 10 years and even after that got a great trade in value for it. I am 4 years into my second one. I love how it drives. I find it plenty big to pack up the family for week long vacation trips, great gas mileage and safety features...

We've had a Toyota Highlander for almost 10 years. It has a third row seat. Have loved it. Highly recommend.

I love our Toyota Highlander. It technically seats 8, but fitting 3 teens in the back row would be a challenge. Its big without being huge and there is a ton of space in the back when not using the third row.

I have a Toyota Highlander Hybrid and I am obsessed! It is my second one in the past 10 years. It has 7 or 8 seats depending on the trim, Back hatch opens with a button, Gas milage is regular 30mpg, AWD so I never slide in the rain, Fold down third row, and all of the seats in the back fold down if you need to move a dresser or other furniture. Best reasale value long term. TOYOTA all the way!

I absolutely love my Nissan Armada. It is a tank, seats up to 8 and has a huge cargo area in the back. I like it more than the Lincoln Navigator I had before it.

We have had an Expedition Max for the last 3.5 years and just traded ours in for a newer one. I love it and while the vehicle is very large, it has a million censors to makes sure I don't accidently hit anything haha!
