Fireworks make my pets nervous

What are some tricks that you can share on how to make my pets more comfortable at home during the 4th? My pets get super nervous when fireworks are going off and I feel terrible for them!

It may sound torturous but put them in an interior room like a bathroom and turn on the fan to drown out the sound of the fire works.

James Gates thanks for the tip! I put them in the basement and that helped out a lot! Except when we needed to take them out for the bathroom!
