I've bought some cool stuff at antique stores there. Some very good art, (at least 4 years ago) on the square.
I adore wind gliding.... if you can. It is amazing and peaceful. (I don't know if there's a boat that will wench you out.... that's recommended way from my perspective.)
Restaurants Olympia. One by Alyssa ship & one by sea wall Oasis near IBW Gumbo Bar. Ok Eatcetera. Good Queens BBQ On Jimmy's pier (61st). Fish tacos. Russos NY pizza. Way down on broadway Sunflower bakery great for breakfast too. Post office & 14 Farmers market - Sunday 9am next to oasis
We went a few months ago and we didn’t do much exploring we did go to the down town square to visit the ice cream shops and little shops that was fun. We also went on a dolphin watching boat ride that was a lot of fun!! Highly recommend Dolphin Baywatch Tours! The guide was so entertaining and the ride was fun. We did get to see some dolphins.
