Help! The ants are back! Can you recommend an exterminator?

Hi,
We have been getting ants in our house every year, and we've kept them at bay more or less with vinegar. We need a better solution. They are back, with a vengeance, after their winter away. Can you recommend an ant exterminator?

Before calling an exterminator, try these Terro T300 Liquid Ant Baits. We have experimented with a lot of methods over the years, and these are the most effective poison, for small/sugar ants anyway. A few days, and they're all gone. Watch the ants for a bit and find out where they are entering a room, then put a trap in their path there.

If that doesn't work, we've had a good experience with Pest Fighter (freshchalk.com/pest-fighter...) a few times over the years for other issues.

I agree with Kate 100% - borax traps work wonders. Easy to use, not messy.

Hi Lisa! I just used Eastside Exterminator last month and the ants haven’t been back! I’m so impressed and they will come back next month to spray outside or again inside if there is evidence of more ants! They came the same day too that I called. They were great! We have a very persistent ant problem every year and I’ve used several exterminators and this is the best .

Every year we have a huge wave of paver ants and some make it into our house. We hired westernexterminator.com a few years ago and they treat out patio every other month with great success. No ants any more.

We use Eagle Pest Eliminators and have for years. We had an ant issue 2 years ago. They figured it out, set traps and voila, no more ants. They are very responsive and well priced.

After seeing this post, I ordered the Terro Liquid Ant Baits as we seem to have a yearly influx of ants every spring and just like clockwork they returned a few days ago, this time in both the kitchen and bathroom. I put a few down in both rooms and the kitchen ants were gone within 48 hours, they went crazy for the bait. The bathroom is taking a bit longer, but there doesn't seem to be as many in there, I am hopeful though.

Hoping this gets rid of them for good, but am grateful for recommendation.
