I need a subtle air freshener

I would like a plug-in air freshener for my room, but most of the smells make me nauseous, and after 30 minutes, I would have to unplug it :( are there any plug-ins that aren't so strong but leave the room smelling fresh and clean?

I can't think of a plug in that works, but how do you feel about Palo Santo or even incense? Or maybe a battery operated scented candle? I feel like the more natural, the better. So I love to waft some palo santo through a room to clear it even though scents sometimes nauseate me. I like incense if I can have a window/breeze open. And sometimes even just a simple linen spray will get the job done! Hope that helps!

have you tried any essential oil diffusers or even the mini plug-in ones? that way you can choose your scent AND it's all-natural! Could do a lavender/tea tree blend (lavender > tea tree) or sweet orange oil is always nice.

I can't do the plugins or oil diffusers since they aggravate my asthma (sad face), but I've had great success using bamboo charcoal filters to absorb stale odors. I also used Citrus Magic at one point near a guinea pig cage - it was amazing at sucking up the odors and leaving a nice citrusy scent behind that wasn't awful.

The charcoal bags and essential lavender oil. l even put a few drops in my vacuum. Put a few drops on your light bulbs. A warning though for essential oils, tee tree oil vapors are toxic to pets.

I like Mrs.Meyers Room Freshners Spray. My favorite scent is the Lavender but all their scents are subtle. They also have diffusers too that work pretty well.

You can get at Grocery stores, Target, etc.
