Looking for a new dentist...

I'm so bummed that my dentist whom I've heartily endorsed on FreshChalk, Dr. Mark Grace, has retired. He's amazing, low-key, great care, doesn't over-prescribe. I want someone like that -- any recommendations?

I also was seeing Dr. Grace, and I guess by default will give the new dentist in the practice (Dr. Nehchiri) a try. Have you seen her? My backup plan would probably be to reach out to this doc based on location/my network's recs. freshchalk.com/dr-ty-etheri...

I have not. Since my last visit in Feb (by which time Dr. Grace had left), the practice has been purchased and is now Optima Dental Spa -- totally new operation w/ new dentists. So I'm looking around... I don't know, going to the dentist isn't exactly like going to the spa...although I appreciate they are trying to make the experience more pleasurable :)

Wow, I guess I am out of the loop. I think I have an appt coming up tho? Someone recently told me they had just started going to Dr. Chin next to Vios and so far so good, but I can't remember who it was...

I too was a patient of Dr. Grace of more than 20 years so it was a surprise to have the practice sell so quickly. I had to have an emergency crown in March and tried Dr. Julia R. Moritis, DDS. She did a great job. Not a fancy office but the service and care was excellent.
