HI friends--I'm looking for new glasses frame recommnedations--any online glasses frame suggestions? Who is easy to use? Who to avoid? My eye presciption is a tough one as I am terribly near sighted--think coke bottle! Thanks
Cindy, I would like the answer to this question also. I'll be watching for a response. I've heard about Warby Parker and Zenni and have friends who'w gotten from both. I'm pretty new to prescription glasses so I don't have much experience.
My vision is real bad, like -14 in each eye + astigmatism. It's correctable with contacts, but I use glasses occasionally. A pair of high powered glasses on Zenni will run you ~$100-150. It's scary, though, because if you order a bad pair you have no one to blame but yourself. For high powered lenses you'll need a decent sized frame, and don't cheap out on the lens index. All that being said, I'm very happy with my Zenni glasses.
If you have a simple prescription you can get amazingly cheap glasses on Zenni. Like I'm hold a pair that cost $7. At that price, buy a few and see which you like best.
I’ve used Zenni for years and could be legally blind without. Never had any issues and they really get you thinking about what others are charging you since they have a wide variety of inexpensive frames that are high-quality.
Zeelool and Zenni! If you get transition lenses, Zenni has better quality. However, Zeelool has a lot of fun and different frames! They constantly have flash sales so frames you like will almost always go on sale within a few weeks. Both get sent to you within a few weeks too!
Wow, these are great responses. Adam--I'm with you on the -14/astigmatism. So terrific feedback re if I order the wrong one's/kind/etc. Zenni, eyebuydirect, blenderseyewear--ok, time to do my homework! Thanks
I used Liingo and really like them. I even called and asked if they could repair my glasses after my puppy got them. They sent me a new pair! And it was after the warranty time.
