Solo Stove?

We're thinking about getting a Solo Stove for backyard enjoyment and to safely burn up the branches/wood we've collected from yard work - are they as great as they seem?

We were looking at those but ended up going with a Tiki fire pit and really like it. It’s a similar concept but we preferred the look and it can burn wood or pellets. The one part that was a disappointment was a screen they sold separately - the fit is a bit off and the paint peeled! It looks like they might be coming out with a new screen, probably based on the negative feedback.

I know a lot of happy Solo owners. When push came to shove we ended up getting a propane model instead, though - TACKLife Propane Fire Pit.

We chose a gas fireplace but my Solo Stove friends LOVE it, and its great for roasting marshmallows. My friend says its getting a lot of use during Covid for sure.

We have friends with a solo stove, and they love it. We've been over for several socially-distant gatherings around the solo, and it is amazingly easy to start and mostly smoke-free.

We got one in October and have been loving it. They really are very low smoke and add nice warmth for COVID friendly outdoor gatherings.

Thanks to everyone who shared their experience! We did end up getting a Solo Stove and are happy with it! After having it for a week, we purchased the add-on weatherproof cover, as we realized it wasn't something we wanted to be moving in/out of the garage, much easier to just leave it covered up on the patio.
