My family does an Oddball Thanksgiving, it's where we each pick our favorite dish, not specifically Thanksgiving food; could be pizza, spaghetti or anything you want. Then that is what we eat. My boyfriend doesn't like Thanksgiving food so we created our own unique tradition.

I have gotten several emails on Thanksgiving catering from Lettuce Entertain You here in Chicago... Not sure if they have any restaurants in Austin, but I know they have great food! We have also done Boston Market for family style dinners before!
