We have three of us at home doing school online fulltime and needed one too. I got the NETGEAR WiFi Extender and we have had no issues since with spotty internet.
So I would say pairing a faster router like the Netgear Nighthawk and Netgear WiFi extenders will certainly help with WFi hungry homes. Extenders will get you to a point, but if you’re throwing everything at your providers router, the router is the bottleneck, upgrade the router too 😊
I did a ton of research and have been using this for over a year, it is rated for a 5000 sq ft house and is super simple to set up in the app, unlike a single point extender it is a 3 puck system, really cranks up the speed across your home.
We got the NETGEAR AC2000 Dual Band Wireless Access Point (WAC124) when we were doing schooling in place. It seems to be working well and yhere was less freezing/getting thrown off.
