For an inexpensive, and quick DIY, we use the Cutter Backyard Bug Control. You attach it to your hose and spray. Works well with no unpleasant aroma. It has been a life saver around the pool. The mosquitoes love my daughter!! My husband sprays it about an hour before we go out and it really makes a difference.
