They were very nice at first, but then communication from his office stopped.
Stephen Alekna Dr. Z was okay. He consulted with me via video and email. Sylvia his assistant was nice, but didn't communicate after initial consultation. I called several times over a month and was told she was never available and she would call me back. She never did. When I looked for assistance in speaking with the Doctor or Sylvia, the receptionist deliberately turned the conversation into an adversarial conversation by saying that I was yelling at her when I wasn't. * An email exchange with Dr. Z* Hi Dr. Z, I'm really wondering... what concerning factors are a problem? The fact that I called your cellphone because nobody from your practice would call me back for about a month?? Or the fact that I want to know if I had the severe bone loss prior to the Doctor at my regular Dentist doing the very painful and audibly, bone breaking extraction of my front teeth? How would you feel if you were in my shoes? I have very high expectations for a medical professional and their staff. Communication is a key component to a successful relationship and your office staff didn't communicate any of your discomfort about giving your opinion of my xrays from my regular Dentist. Why am I being demonized for wanting to follow up and get an answer. By the way... in case you didn't hear me share with you, because you were irritated that I called your cellphone, I specifically told you that I asked Sylvia, very respectfully, and with great caution if I could have the xrays, prior to the butchered extraction from my Dentist sent to you for your review and opinion. Sylvia said it would be okay. However, again, nobody contacted me back. I did email her a few days after my Dentist sent them to your practice. I asked Sylvia if they were received. She said yes and that she would get back to me in a couple of days. However, she didn't. Even when I did reach someone at your office and asked if Sylvia was available, I would be asked to hold while they checked, then to be told that she isn't available and I'd be called back. Nobody ever called me back. I certainly didn't deserve to be ignored. I don't think many people would appreciate the non communication, and I'm sure you wouldn't have either. So again... what did I do wrong except call you on your cellphone? You.. the owner of the practice. And remember... I wasn't a solicitor. I was a valid patient trying my best to get help.
