Steven Chayer

I'm the proud husband of Elizabeth, father of Andy & Dennis. E and I built that cabin in AK (pictured). I invented Vacuboom. I built a 2 million dollar a year WA painting business. I now work with Elizabeth, founder of the American Dance Institute. We've grown the school to 6 studios in 4 Seattle locations. I enjoy life and its adventures.

American Dance Institute - Magnolia
Dance Classes
I co-own this business along with my wife Elizabeth who started her school in Greenwood thirty years ago this year. Our teachers are what count and ours are excellent. We teach adults through toddlers and you'll love our Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Flamenco, and Irish dance classes. The address is 3116 West Smith Street Seattle, WA 98199 and we are on the second floor. We are very welcoming of everyone, new beginners, returning dancers, and intermediate. The beginning classes are real beginners, our intermediates are real intermediate level class. We don't mix levels together to make a full class. We also have studios in Greenwood and Shoreline. https:www.AmericanDanceInstitute.com

Float Seattle
Spa
This is the third location for this fast-growing and popular Seattle area float center. The floats tanks are super clean, the environment and culture of their locations are perfectly suited to the relaxing floating experience. Such a wonderful addition to the Greenwood neighborhood (Janus building on 85th near Fred Meyer). They have float centers in Greelnlake and Bellevue also.

Benchmark Home Services Inc.
Electrician
Ed Hlavacek, the owner of Benchmark Services, performed all of the electrical work for our American Dance Institute Magnolia dance studio project in 2020. He was competitively priced and very communicative, especially during the COVID pandemic shut down, and when reopening when ours, his and everyone's schedules were very difficult to navigate. Once construction was allowed to resume, Ed finished up his work promptly and did an awesome job. He is very easy to talk to, very detailed, and as I said excellent at communications. I've hired him again to perform the electrical work in our new Wedgwood studio location. I highly recommend him to you!

I've known Kelly for over 35 years and I respect her for many things especially her ability as a voice teacher and entrepreneur in Seattle. Taproot Theater
Theater
We've attended performances here for over 20 years. Each new show is so well done. The actors are marvelous, the plays featured, like all great plays, are thought-provoking, compelling and thoroughly entertaining. Taproot does amazing things with their small talented cast.
