I always have an air purifier in my bedroom (asthmatic) but my daughter's Levoit was much quieter than any I've had so I got one on Amazon -- it does a good job even with wildfire smoke. .
Guardian is a high quality brand. AC9400 is the large floor standing unit. I buy a new $65ish filter about every 6 mos. (when it tells me to)...Luv mine but also bought an off brand mid size for our bedroom upstairs.
