Best grocery delivery?

My partner and I just got tested for COVID and are self-isolating for the near future and of course we got home to find that we're out of pretty much every pantry and toiletry essential imaginable. What is everyone's favorite grocery delivery service?

I use Costco and Amazon Prime Whole Foods. Good luck! 🍀

I have a lot I could say about this... I did an actual test of like five different grocery delivery services, comparing price, selection, app quality, and speed of delivery. I tried building a cart for a typical family grocery order of around $50. We looked at Instacart (for several stores), Target/Shipt, and Amazon/Whole Foods. I forgot to check Fred Meyer, though.

Prices were quite similar, surprisingly. Amazon/WF had the lowest fees and by far the best selection, but scheduling was a challenge. The Target/Shipt app was our favorite in terms of app speed, though the selection was weak. The Instacart app feels like garbage after using Shipt, but you can get the groceries almost instantly.

We ended up using Instacart but felt like it was really pricey after all of the fees were added. I think we paid at least $20 extra after tips, services charges, etc.

I use Instacart because I like their navigation and because they deliver from Costco for those bulk resupply runs. I've also successfully used PrimeNow and Safeway but I don't like their UI as well.

We order with FredMeyer.com online and do curbside pick up. I think they have a delivery option as well.

It’s easy, the selection is good, there are no fees (for curbside) and we can get our pick up time of choice as long as we order about two days prior.

We have also had our choice of times with less advance time - and not.

If you can’t find your choice time, the app tells you what store has the next open times.

We love online grocery ordering so much. I never knew I would actually prefer it until the pandemic.
